Anything for abstract art.

- You are asking for personal opinion here so I'll give you mine. I think oils are the best paints for abstract or any other kinds of art work. Watercolour is just happy accident but sometimes unhappy and acrylics leave me cold.
- Any kind of paint is ok for abstract art --actually, whatever medium you prefer is ok for any kind of art---realistic, abstract or non-objective.
- Acrylic.paint. No doubt about it. It dries instantly and can be layered. It can also be thined out with water to look like watercolor. Have fun!
