What qualifications are needed to be a fine art teacher in secondary schools?

Is it necessary to have a degree is it possible to teach with an HND? Do you need to have a GCSE as well, how many what subjects? And what teaching courses are there? what is the best route to take to be an art teacher? Any information on teaching and art would be great help i would like to find out as much of possible. Thanks x

1. i'm not sure what qualifications are needed to be a fine art teacher,but you don't need any to be a crap one.
2. A degree in fine art followed by a PGCE.
3. GCSE ENglish, maths and science degree in fine art teaching qualification eg PGCE
