What is considered a fine art in high school?

I'm applying to college and they ask how many credits of fine art you havetaken in high school. I have taken photography and ceramics, would those be fine arts?

1. Both of those are fine arts. Fine arts are art classes, music appreciation classes, music classes (band)...
2. i think the ceramic one is a fine art. the photography is considered a journalism program.
3. Yes. Music, Art (painting, drawing, ceramics, phtography, etc), web design or film count as fine arts.
