Art History? I have to write a paper for my Art History class on the art of my heritage. I'm Italian so I need to find 3 pieces of italian art that were made before 1300 to write about in my paper. Is Roman art considered Italian art? I don't understand the difference. Please help! And if you have any suggestions on some good websites to find Italian art I'd appreciate it!

One artist that I really enjoyed from the class is Damien Hirst. Can anyone help me come up with a good topic/thesis for a paper on him or his genre of work? Any other artists or ideas are welcome as well.
